  1. Bella Says:

I like dark wood. Whites more girly and natural and golden I think are boyish. Dark wood just looks good with any bedding set! Whether it be pink, blue, or yellow! I believe dark woods accents any bedding set. Most bedding sets have some sort of white in them which blends in with a white crib. Natural/golden wood doesn’t give enough contrast between colors. Its light wood and bedding is usually a light pink, light blue or light yellow so therefore it to ends up sort of blending in with the natural or golden wood.

  2. Little Mermaid Says:

I think natural can be for either sex the best (also goes with a different variety of bedding sets and nursery themes). dark wood i think can accent boy decor better. white wood goes better for girls, i wouldn’t ever have white for a boy. golden can go with both sexes but depends on what kind of bedding set/ nursery theme your going to have.
edit: I don’t think golden would go with yellow walls…or soft colors… I would either go with the dark stain or espresso stain, it would go for both sexes; classy for the girl, or boyish – whichever way it ends up going. it depends if you want the furniture to stand out or blend in ( dark stands, natural blends )

  3. Zoey is getting so big! Says:

I have always thought the Golden was best and the most neutral for either gender. The white and natural are beautiful but once they are aren’t newborns anymore they will be really hard on it. . getting it dirty, biting on the rail and even writing on it with crayons or something as toddlers. It doesn’t hide dirt either. The dark stained wood is elegant but I feel like it’s too dark for a baby and also does not hide dirt or stains well.

  4. Luv2Answ Says:

well for the twin boys (now age 8) we used the golden wood.
For the girls we are using the same furniture. Which is white.
I think for boys the darker wood is more manly and for girls the lighter and white is more girly. :)
    that is just my opinion.
I think all of those nurseries are very very nice.
Any of them would make a room look elegant.
    good luck choosing. :)

  5. ♥ I love my 4 kids ♥ Says:

I have the natural wood in my sons room. I think it is mellow and would go with anything you would put with it. His room theme is yellow and green (Froggy Tales) so they are softer colors. I didn’t want the wood to be “loud” and the theme to get lost in the wood.

  6. LukesMom Says:

I like the white and the darker wood. The lighter wood colors look dated to me. I used an off white for my nursery. If I did not already have an off white dresser I would have gone with black.

  7. ~KGB~ Kaitlyn's mommy Says:

For some reason Ive always liked the dark better & I think that would look great with the colors you have picked out.

We’re using Natural wood, that way when they’re older and we convert the room into a toddler/school age room their bedding will match the furniture whichever bedding they decide on.

  9. AirForce Wife Due 8/20/09 W/#1 Says:
