What Can I Make From A Crib Bumper Pad?

October 24th, 2009 by jennie

Many nursery bedding sets come with a bumper pad, which I choose not to use. Is there anything useful I can convert the bumper pad into, using a sewing machine and minimal sewing skills?

Depending on how detailed the design is, you could fold it up, and use it as a very soft picture album! Just baste stitch the pics onto it, and voila! :-)

Why not do decorations on the wall? Cut it up and sew it to make little wall hangings that will match the baby’s bed and you can also hang the comforter up on the wall as decorations. I did it and it is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!!!

I put ours along the bottom of the crib on the outside (near the floor). It’s like a dust ruffle that way, and it matches your nursery theme!

padded books, small mats for changing in akward places. I find having a little cushin in the car very convient. I think with a little sewing that would work well

    a comfy tummy time mat.
having multiples of these is handy so you dont have to move them from room to room–lots of tummy time is good!!
