I am giving my newborn her first bath and not sure what temp the water is meant to be. I have a phillips thermometer and the room temp is meant to be between 17 and 21. So is that the same for bath water or warmer?

My son is 3 months old and has sensitive skin. I’ve tried the Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo, but that makes him red. I’ve also tried “Grins and Giggles” by Gerber and that seems to be better on his skin, but he’s still a little sensitive to that.
I’m wondering .. what do you use on your baby when they take a bath??
And if your baby has sensitive skin — what body wash (shampoo) worked best??
And, how often do you bathe your baby??

I have a two-week-old baby. I really want to give him a bath because he had phototherapy for jaundice and it made his skin really peel everywhere. We also want to go out in a couple of hours though, to a store, and it’s really cold out, below freezing. Obviously he would be bundled up really well. Is this okay?

I give her a bath every other day, sometimes i will give her a bath if she truly needs it (pee everywhere lol) but what if u gone two days without giving her a bath?
The reason I ask, my 5 month old baby, is so sleepy tonight, and I feel that when she eats (she should be waking soon) to get that she will fall right back to sleep and I am unsure if I should give her a bath, if she is going to so sleepy and cranky during it. Its been since Wednesday since I last gave her a bath…what would u do?
